Today:
Many places will be dry at first with sunny spells. Showers will break out over Outer Hebrides during the morning, extending to many parts of Highland Region this afternoon. Snow on higher ground. Mostly light westerly winds. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
Tonight:
Showers dying out in most places with only a few remaining over the Islands during the night. Long clear spells elsewhere will lead to a widespread sharp frost. Minimum temperature -5 °C.
Friday:
Mainly dry at first with bright spells. Showers will develop over the Western Isles, extending to most places by early afternoon with snow over the hills. Fresh northwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
