Met Office Forecast is as follows:

Headline:

Mainly dry and bright but rain later.

Today:

Apart from a light shower over the Highlands and Islands it should be a dry and fairly bright day. However, more general rain will be spreading in from the west by evening. Westerly winds will be fresh at times. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Tonight:

A cloudy night with rain, the rain heaviest and most persistent further west, but lighter and more patchy around Inverness. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Monday:

It will be a rather cloudy day and the west especially will see spells of rain or drizzle. Some drier intervals further east. Lighter winds. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Met Office Forecast is as follows:

Rain, some heavy in west, clearing south later. East drier.

Today:

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain, again persistent and at times fairly heavy over the mountainous west, smaller amounts in the east where a few bright spells. Rain easing later, some late brightness in northwest. Strong locally gale southwest winds. Mild. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Tonight:

Mainly dry though staying rather cloudy in the west with the odd light shower. Fresh to strong westerly winds. Turning a little colder. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Sunday:

Inverness and the east mainly dry with some sunny intervals. Cloudier in west with some light showers, then more persistent rain and drizzle reaching the west coast later. Windy. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Met Office Forecast is as follows:

Sunny intervals and scattered showers, frost on mainland tonight.

Today:

Cloud and patchy rain will clear southeast by or soon after daybreak, with a bright day to come with a mixture of sunny intervals and scattered showers. Light to moderate northwest winds. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Tonight:

Much of the mainland will be dry with clear spells and a touch of frost. Milder over the Hebrides with freshening winds bringing some patchy drizzle later tonight. Minimum temperature 0 °C.

Friday:

Patchy rain or drizzle over the Hebrides becoming more persistent and reaching the Northwest Mainland in the afternoon, small amounts towards Inverness and Fort William. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Much colder morning with a very light dusting of snow. Current temperature -2C.  the sky still looks heavy so another shower may be on its way.
Snow has hit many parts of Scotland and England with a vengence. Weather will generally remain cold for the rest of the week with our area having heavy snow on Wednesday..

Today:

The Western Isles will be mainly cloudy with some patchy rain possible. Over the rest of the area it will be a dry day with some bright or sunny spells developing. Strong to gale force southeasterly winds. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Tonight:

Still the chance of some patchy rain over the Hebrides through this evening but dying away overnight. Elsewhere dry with some clear spells and a widespread frost developing. Minimum temperature -2 °C.

Sunday:

Turning colder with a mixture of sunny intervals and a few showers these turning wintry. These showers will be confined to the east. Strong easterly winds. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Mainly dry with sunny spells but rain in southwest later

Today:

Overnight showers and freezing fog patches clearing to leave a bright morning and early afternoon with sunny spells. However, increasing cloud this afternoon brings outbreaks of rain, hill snow, to Lochaber. Strengthening southeasterly winds with gales in west. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Tonight:

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain, hill snow, spreading east, perhaps preceded by sleet and wet snow at low levels. Strong southeasterly winds with gales, perhaps severe gales in west. Minimum temperature 0 °C.

Thursday:

Cloudy with occasionally heavy rain, thaw of lying snow, but drier conditions spread east later in afternoon. Further rain in northwest later. Strong to gale force south or southeasterly winds. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
