Mainly dry and rather cloudy but some patchy rain at first mainly in south and west. Bright spells developing this afternoon, especially towards Inverness with some sunshine developing. The odd heavy shower may break out later. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Tonight:

Scattered heavy showers will linger this evening though most areas will have some late sunshine. Patchy mist or low cloud across Caithness and Sutherland and the Isles, some drizzle. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Sunday:

Bright with sunny intervals and scattered heavy showers, some thundery. Low cloud and mist may linger near east facing coasts. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Hill and coastal fog across the northwest. Otherwise, warm sunshine.

Today:

Hill and coastal fog will affect parts of Eilean Siar and northwest Highland. Otherwise, bright or sunny, although an isolated shower could break out across the Highlands. Light and variable winds. Still warm or very warm in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 25 °C.

Tonight:

Low cloud will become extensive around the coasts overnight. A light or moderate north or northeast breeze will develop, which will carry the mist or fog inland. Mild. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Tuesday:

Thickening cloud will bring some rain or drizzle. Brighter, cooler, conditions will follow from the north. The north or northeasterly breezes, strong for a time through the Minch. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

 Met Office Forecast is as follows

Today:

Any overnight inland mist patches will soon dissolve away to leave a mainly dry day with some long sunny spells. A warm day with light winds. Some coastal mist and drizzle patches will affect the northwest and Isles throughout. Maximum temperature 25 °C.

Tonight:

A fine dry evening with some pleasant sunshine to end the day. Remaining dry overnight with some long clear spells, a few mist patches are once again expected to form. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Saturday:

No real change tomorrow with overnight mist soon clearing leaving a fine mainly dry day with long sunny spells. A little cloudier in the west with some patchy coastal drizzle. Maximum temperature 25 °C.

Cloudy with patchy rain, east becoming bright and warm later.

Today:

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain or drizzle, much of it light though a few heavier bursts in the northwest and far north at first. It will brighten up through the afternoon and evening across east Highland. Breezy across the Isles. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Tonight:

Drizzle and mist in the Northwest will gradually become confined to the Isles. Clear spells developing elsewhere perhaps with some fog patches inland. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Friday:

A cloudy start over the Hebrides, otherwise dry and very warm with some fine sunny spells. Perhaps hot in places especially the Inverness area. Maximum temperature 25 °C.

Rain for a time, heavy in west, brighter later.

Today:

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain, most persistent in west where some may be heavy especially across Skye and Lochalsh. Becoming mainly dry and bright from the northwest this afternoon with some sunshine. Fresh southwest winds veering westerly and easing. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Tonight:

The evening will be dry with some sunny spells. Cloud will increase tonight bringing outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Mostly light winds, freshening over Barra and the Uists. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Thursday:

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain or drizzle, some quite heavy in the north for a time. Inverness and the east will brighten up later with some sunshine, Maximum temperature 16 °C.

A little patchy light rain or drizzle possible at first. However, it will be mostly dry with brightening skies, some sunshine possible over Eilean Siar and in the west. The cloudy skies could persist around the Moray Firth. Moderate winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

Mainly dry with the best of the cloud breaks in the west, occasional low cloud and mist possible in the east, particularly near the coast. Winds mostly light. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Wednesday:

Mainly dry with bright or sunny spells in the west, perhaps the odd shower. Cloudier in the east with occasional rain or showers. Moderate south or southeast winds. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Mainly fine.

Today:

Possibly a little drizzle around Inverness and the Moray coast at first. Otherwise it should be a dry and bright day with the best of the sunshine in the west. Northeasterly winds may be fresh at times. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

Staying dry and turning mostly cloudy in the east, but with clearer skies being maintained across the west coast and the islands. Northeasterly winds will become light inland. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Saturday:

A mainly dry day but overall rather cloudy and with the best of the sunshine again to be found over the west coast and the islands. Light northeast winds. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

Mist and low cloud will affect the Caithness coast and the Inverness area with a little drizzle possible. Clear spells in the west. Fresh northeasterly winds. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Friday:

Mist and low cloud burning back to Northeast coasts. Otherwise dry and bright with sunny spells. Fresh easterly winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Bright in northwest otherwise rather cloudy.

Today:

Rather cloudy with mist, patchy drizzle and low cloud affecting Caithness and eastern parts of Sutherland and perhaps some light rain across Lochaber and southern Eilean Siar. However there should be some sunny spells for northwestern parts. Moderate easterly breeze. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

Haar continuing to affect eastern parts but any patchy light rain across the southwest should gradually die out. Some clear spells developing in the west overnight. Mainly light winds. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Wednesday:

Haar over eastern coasts may persist for much of the day but generally a bright day with good sunny spells developing. Feeling warm in west but cool on east coast. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Rather cloudy in the west though some clear intervals. Some mist or drizzle patches near the west coast. Some clear spells in the east, isolated fog patches. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Wednesday:

Mist or fog clearing from most areas though low cloud lingering in west. Otherwise dry with variable cloud and some sunny spells. Quite warm in sunnier spots. Light winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C
