Rather cloudy with outbreaks of rain, the odd heavier burst over the Northwest Highlands. The best of the brightness through Lochaber. Breezy over Eilean Siar and around the west coast, the north or northwest winds strong at times. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Tonight:

Still mostly cloudy with occasional rain or showers, the cloud tending to become more broken later in the night. Winds around the west coast and over the Islands easing. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Wednesday:

A brighter day with a few sunny breaks possible, the best of these around the west coast. However, there will be a scattering of showers. Winds mostly light. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Today:

A cloudy start with outbreaks of rain, occasionally heavy. This will clear north during the morning with skies brightening, occasional sunny spells and a scattering of showers during the afternoon and early evening. Winds mostly light. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Tonight:

A fine end to the day for most, but thickening cloud and outbreaks of rain soon moving into Skye and Lochaber, showery rain pushing north and east overnight. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Tuesday:

Rather cloudy with showers or the odd longer outbreak of rain, occasionally heavy. Some drier and brighter spells, particularly around the west coast. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Mainly dry and bright.

Today:

Mainly dry and bright with occasional sunny spells, although thicker cloud and occasional rain is possible through Lochaber and into Skye. The best of any sunshine probably around the coast. Winds light to moderate from the east or northeast. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Tonight:

Bright spells at first, but outbreaks of rain are expected to extend north through Lochaber towards Eilean Siar during the evening, become more widespread overnight. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Monday:

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain, occasionally heavy. This should die out during the morning to leave bright spells and a scattering of showers. However, heavier rain still in the northwest. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Today:

Rather cloudy with many places staying dry. There will be a few showers breaking out, mainly towards Lochaber with Caithness and Sutherland having the best of the brighter weather. Cooler and fresher everywhere with light winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

It will stay mainly dry with some clear spells and a few light showers continuing. A colder night with light northeasterly winds. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Sunday:

Staying dry over North Highlands with some sunshine. Showers becoming more frequent, heavier around Fort William and Newtonmore during the morning, edging northwards across the Region during afternoon. Light winds. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

The west and northwest will be cloudy with outbreaks of mainly light and patchy rain and some murky conditions. Elsewhere it will be another fine dry day with long sunny spells it will also be very warm. Maximum temperature 24 °C.

Tonight:

The cloud in the west will thicken up as a band of rain spreads down across all parts overnight. Following on will be drier weather with clear spells but colder. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Saturday:

Cloudy with patchy rain over Lochaber, this persisting throughout the day. Elsewhere dry with bright or sunny intervals. A cooler day with light winds. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

The west and northwest will be cloudy with outbreaks of mainly light and patchy rain. Over around Inverness and the Black Isle however it will be a fine dry day with long sunny spells it will also be very warm. Maximum temperature 25 °C.

Tonight:

Staying fairly cloudy with sea fog patches up the west coast and around the isles. Inland it will be a dry night with clear spells. A few mist patches possible. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Friday:

Staying fairly cloudy across the Hebrides and up the west coast but soon becoming brighter with sunny spells as you move inland. Another warm day around Inverness. Maximum temperature 25 °C.

Tonight:

Outbreaks of mainly light rain across the north and west. A fine end to the day across south and east Highland, where it should remain dry overnight. Mild. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Thursday:

Patchy light rain or drizzle will die out across the north and west, although here it may remain rather cloudy. Elsewhere, bright, sunny or clear spells. Easing winds. Maximum temperature 21 °C.

A mainly clear sunny start. Scattered showers in the Northwest and Isles, developing elsewhere through the day but mainly light and many places staying dry. Mainly light winds, though freshening southerlies will bring rain to the Isles by evening. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

Rain over the Isles and West Coast will spread east this evening, the rain becoming persistent and heavy at times over the Isles and the West Highlands. Strengthening southwesterly winds. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Wednesday:

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain. These will be heaviest and most persistent over the West Highands, Skye and Harris, but light and occasional in east. Fresh to strong southwest winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

The showers will become confined to the far west and north during this evening as many places, especially Inverness area, remain dry overnight with clearer spells. Winds slowly easing. Minimum temperature 5 °C.
