Rain becoming confined to North. Turning drier, brighter further south.

Today:

Rain will edge north into the rest of Highland becoming persistent north of Inverness where it will stay cool. Brighter conditions with scattered showers following to more southern districts. Winds easing. Maximum temperature 19 °C.

Tonight:

Staying cloudy with still some rain towards the North Coast otherwise drier with some clear spells. Winds will remain light. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Monday:

Any rain in far north at first soon clearing. Otherwise bright with some sunshine but scattered showers developing. Some showers will become heavy and possibly thundery. Light winds. Maximum temperature 20 °C.

Met Office Forecast is as follows

Fairly cloudy with patchy rain. Brighter around Inverness.

Today:

A cloudy start with outbreaks of rain, these mainly over the north and northwest but there will also be some around Inverness at first. Very murky along the west coast but brightening up in the east. Winds light. Maximum temperature 19 °C.

Tonight:

Staying murky in the north and northwest with further outbreaks of mainly light rain. Elsewhere it will be dry overnight but fairly cloudy with some mist patches. Feeling muggy. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Tuesday:

A drier and brighter day although around the isles there will still be some murky conditions. A warm day but with the risk of showers developing over the high ground. Maximum temperature 21 °C.

Cloud and rain gradually clearing from the northwest.

Today:

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain, heaviest over the West Highlands though some also spreading to Inverness and the east. Brighter weather with sunshine and showers reaching the Hebrides this morning will edge erratically southeast later. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Tonight:

A mixture of clear intervals and occasional showers, these more frequent in the north and west with much of the east becoming clear and dry. Moderate southwest winds will develop. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Tuesday:

A bright day with a mixture of sunshine and showers. The showers will be more frequent in the west, though some will form elsewhere from mid-morning. Freshening southwest winds. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Bright at first around Inverness and into Speyside. However, mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain, the odd heavier burst in the west. Becoming drier and brighter over Eilean Siar and near the west coast in the afternoon. Breezy. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Tonight:

Plenty of cloud around with patchy rain at times, mainly through Lochaber around the west coast. Drier spells in the east. The southwest winds mainly light to moderate. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Monday:

A dry bright start in Caithness and Nairn, otherwise a cloudy day with occasional rain in the west spreading edging east through the day. Becoming drier and brighter in the west later. Breezy, with strong winds on west coast easing. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Tonight:

Rain in Caithness and east clearing, then dry with some clear spells. More rain and strong winds returning to the west coast later, gales over the Hebrides. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Friday:

Rain spreading east to all areas followed by brighter weather in the afternoon with sunshine and showers. Fresh to strong southwesterly winds, gales at first over Isles. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
