Mostly cloudy with showers or longer outbreaks of rain, the showers most frequent and heaviest across Skye and Lochaber, with just limited brighter spells likely. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Tonight:

Rather cloudy at first this evening with outbreaks of rain, these will clear through the night to leave clear spells and showers, the showers mainly from Western Isles to Lochaber. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Wednesday:

A much brighter day with some sunny spells, but still breezy with showers, some heavy and most frequent in the west. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

A rather cloudy start with outbreaks of rain, these will turn more showery through the morning with sunny spells expected during the afternoon, then showers dying away towards evening. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Tonight:

A dry evening with some later sunshine, then cloud thickening from the southwest, bringing outbreaks of rain. More showery weather will follow into Lochaber later. Strong winds with the rain. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Tuesday:

Mostly cloudy during the morning with outbreaks of rain, but turning brighter through the afternoon as the rain clears, to be followed by showers and a strong northwest wind. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

A fine dry start to the day with some good sunny spells. Showers will gradually develop these mainly focussed over the Isles at first but then into Knoydart and Lochaber later. Winds remaining light. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Tonight:

Becoming cloudier through this evening with the showers merging with a more organised area of rain which will move up from the southwest. The rain heaviest over Lochaber. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Monday:

A mainly cloudy day with outbreaks of rain these heavy at times across the Nevis range and up into the northwest. Becoming drier and brighter around Oban later. Light winds. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Today:

A cloudy start with some outbreaks of showery rain these mainly over the west with some bright intervals around Inverness. During the afternoon the cloud in the west will gradually break up with bright then sunny intervals developing. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Tonight:

Any remaining showers dying out with some fine evening sunshine to end the day. Dry overnight with clear spells. Light winds. A few mist patches developing, mainly Great Glen. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Sunday:

A fine dry start to the day with some good sunny spells. Showers will gradually develop these mainly focussed over the high ground of Lochaber and the northwest Highlands. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Tonight:

Showers dying out and becoming cloudy with some rain in places. The rain turning heavy at times over Argyll. Mild with light winds. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Saturday:

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain, but improving to the east of the hills. Mist and drizzle lingering around the mountains, but slowly improving through the afternoon. Light winds. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Large amounts of cloud at first but thinning and breaking through the morning with a little sunshine towards Ullapool and Durness. Cloud and rain spreading from the west in the afternoon, becoming heavy with fresh or strong winds. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Tonight:

A wet night with rain and fresh winds but clearing by the morning with scattered showers, winds easing but still fresh at times over Eilean Siar. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Friday:

Sunny intervals and scattered showers, although some eastern areas towards the Black Isle will be dry with warm sunshine for the first day of Autumn. Further rain reaching Lochaber later. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Rather cloudy with scattered light showers through the day. Some breaks developing to allow bright spells, these most likely towards Easter Ross. the strong northwesterly winds will slowly decrease. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Tonight:

Remaining mostly cloudy through Monday evening and night with a few showers around too. The brisk northwest wind will continue to decrease, leading to mist around the Great Glen. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Tuesday:

A good deal of cloud around once again, ands still a few light showers too, mainly towards the coast and over the Western Isles. Light winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Cloudy as persistent rain, heavy at times, affects most parts giving some significant rainfall during the day. The Western Isles and Lochaber will only see light and patchy rain. Windy with strong to gale force winds. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

Rain will become confined to Caithness during this evening before clearing overnight. Showers will then follow to all parts as it remains cloudy. Strong to gale force winds slowly easing. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Monday:

Bright but rather cloudy with the best of the sunnier breaks in Inverness area. Scattered showers will continue but become more isolated later in the day. Winds easing. Maximum temperature 15 °C.
