For the time of year today is going to be another exceptionally warm one with highs widely reaching 15-17c and perhaps even surpassing the February record in Scotland which has stood since 1897 at 17.9c.
Although the UK is sure to be proclaimed as hotter than plenty of random places in the media this week, and despite being unseasonably mild – it is still colder than Florida.
